Hangzhou Citizen Card App has officially launched “Hangzhou Public Transport One Code Pass”. Citizens can take public transport by scanning one code, such as buses, metros and water buses.

Starting from May 1, Hangzhou will implement the preferential policies for public transport in various forms including tiered discounted fares and cumulative discounted fares. Citizens can enjoy the maximum discount of 50%.

This policy has expanded the scope of groups enjoying the preferential treatment. All groups in Hangzhou, including non-local tourists and foreigners, can enjoy the preferential treatment, which benefits daily commuters and short-term tourists in Hangzhou.
