Hangzhou International Commercial Court, which is the first and the 9th international commercial court in Zhejiang Province and in China respectively, was founded on March 15. 

International Commerce, as the name implies, refers to the commercial activities among the merchants, enterprises or other market entities, including cross-border trades or investments.

In recent years, Hangzhou has been active in foreign trade activities and has further geared to international conventions. Foreign-related civil and commercial disputes in Hangzhou region have become more complicated and unprecedented and have been increasing in number. Therefore, Hangzhou International Commercial Court was founded to handle such cases. 

The court will further provide one-stop solutions for international commercial affairs and offer equally beneficial, convenient and efficient, smart and well-targeted judicial services through digital and intelligent means.
