The activity on supplementary recruitment & interview and selection of volunteers for Hangzhou Asian Games has been held in colleges and universities throughout Zhejiang Province and in co-host cities. Linguistic competence and enthusiasm for sports are key to required qualification for applicants.

Melisa from Zhejiang International Studies University is outgoing and can speak Chinese, Arab, English and French. She is also a sports fan and is good at playing football, volleyball, basketball and badminton, so she can fully understand the athletes and the sportsmanship. 

Chen Kemi from Zhejiang University of Technology has the experience as an exchange student in the USA and has travelled more than 20 countries. She has rich experience in studying and living in English environment and has unique vision on Sino-foreign international exchanges. Besides, she is a national second-level table tennis player. To her, sports are an international language; volunteers are responsible for telling stories of Hangzhou to the world. 

Faris, a Jordanian student in Hangzhou, is also selected as a pre-admission volunteer. As a fan of Ma Long, world champion of Table Tennis, Faris is looking forward to attending the same Asian Games with his idol. 

The selected college students are outgoing, passionate and fluent in foreign languages, and know well about the host city and co-host cities of the Asian Games. With passion, they will surely provide excellent volunteer services for Hangzhou Asian Games and tell stories of Hangzhou and Asian Games to the tourists around the world.
