Eighteen tourists from Hong Kong arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport on February 15, for the upcoming five-day Song-style Spring Tour.
The relevant officials from Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV and Tourism, Shangcheng District of Culture, Tourism and Sports, and CITS Zhejiang Branch, extended their warm welcome by using fresh flowers and applause at the airport. They also presented special gifts including New Year Mascot Lord Rabbit and Asian Games Postcard.
Song culture has been a brand of Hangzhou tourism. Hong Kong tourists will visit the West Lake, Lingyin Temple, Chenghuang Temple and other prestigious historical and cultural sites, as well as the newly opened popular site - Southern Song Deshou Palace Site Museum. In addition, the tourists are looking forward to enjoying authentic Hangzhou cuisines and local special snacks.
This is Zhejiang’s first inbound tourism group from Hong Kong since the country resumed the operation of group tourism between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong/Macao, indicating Zhejiang (Hangzhou) has officially resumed inbound tourism.
