10000 yuan! Hangzhou deliverymen may enhance education for free

Located in Xihu District of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Open University has recently launched an action that aims to boost the care for the group growth of "deliverymen". The university plans to invest 1 million yuan in a period of three years to subsidize 100 courier deliverymen, take-away deliverymen, ride-hailing drivers and other labors of new occupation population to obtain associate degree or bachelor degree for free. 

In order to upgrade the overall education background of the deliverymen, Xihu District Federation of Trade Unions and Zhejiang Open University jointly run "Deliverymen College" to better serve the new occupation population and meet deliverymen's demands for education.  

Labors from new occupation population aged 18-45 who work in Xihu District and have joined Xihu District Labor Union may be enrolled in the Open Education College of Zhejiang Open University and may have the chance to win the maximum grant of 10,000 yuan.
