All localities throughout China have seen robust rebound of tourism economy since the country optimized its policy for the pandemic control. In this year's Spring Festival holiday, all scenic spots, malls, supermarkets and museums in Hangzhou were crowed with visitors. Each district of Hangzhou took novel measures to improve tourists' consumption.
Consumption coupons, promotion activities and other initiatives co-launched by the government and the merchants effectively stimulated citizens to go out to consume. Malls in Shangcheng and Gongshu Districts saw rich festive vibes and record-high customer flow.
Relying on the beautiful scenery, Xihu District staged various folklore activities, such as lighting lantern, taking pleasure boats and organizing bazaars and holding intangible heritage experience activities like dragon dancing so that tourists may experience traditional folklore art while enjoying fine view of Lingshan Mountain. Hangzhou Branch of China National Archives of Publications and Culture, together with Liangzhu Museum based in Yuhang District also offered various folklore activities and cultural exhibitions to attract family tours.
The riverside greenway in Qiantang District adopts innovative tourism consumption mode that puts health on top priority. Many tourists chose to ramble or cycle along the greenway, while roller skating fans enjoyed the wonderful sports in the park.
Ancient towns in Jiande, Qiandao Lake in Chun’an and villages in Lin’an have become popular destinations for the tourists. The surging tourists have boosted scenic spots’ confidence for economic rebound.
