With the rapid development of cartoon and animation industry, China International Cartoon & Animation Festival (CICAF) has become a unique urban cultural label of Hangzhou. As the largest-scale and most popular cartoon and animation gala in China, CICAF has exerted influence in more than 60 countries and regions around the world.
On November 24-27, the 18th CICAF will be held in Hangzhou International Expo Center, the venue for G20 Hangzhou Summit. There are some highlights of the festival.
The festival will focus on the elegant Song and Chinese culture and Asian Games culture. Hundreds of Chinese ancient fashion insiders will show the garment styles of the Tang, Song and Ming Dynasties and modern times on the runway. The Asian Games theme booth will launch cultural promotion.
All the activities will be carried out both online and offline with the support of scientific technologies. New digital applications, including digital human and glasses-free flexible 3D visual screen, will make their debuts. Online streaming and interaction will enable participants to have their own experience of the glamorous digital culture.
Also, the activity will collaborate with national leading enterprises to develop cartoon game brands, build up a positional platform for supply-demands match-making and empower the further development of the animation industry.
