Hangzhou foreign trade showed a rising trend in the first half of the year despite changing domestic and overseas environment. According to statistics, Hangzhou's imports and exports reached 380.15 billion yuan in the first half of 2022, up 9.4% year on year, accounting for 16.8% of the province's total import and export volume. The EU, ASEAN and USA were the top 3 trade markets of Hangzhou, with imports and exports of 66.16 billion yuan, 53.02 billion yuan and 50.65 billion yuan, up 12.8%, 2.3% and 18.8%, respectively.
In the first half of the year, Qianjiang Customs issued 6,297 RCEP certificates of origin, bringing a total benefit of over 17 million yuan to the enterprises. Also, Hangzhou has utilized the upgraded "Overseas Hangzhou" exhibition platform to launch both online and offline exhibitions in Indonesia and Dubai. In addition, Hangzhou has stepped up efforts to relieve difficulties in logistics, and expanded the coverage of export credit insurance to promote enterprise development.
