Hangzhou has taken measures to relieve summer heat for Longjing Tea as well as for vegetables and fruits. On July 11, tea farmers covered the sun-shading net over tea trees to ward off the scorching sun at Longjing Tea Plantation in Wengjiashan Village in Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area. Meanwhile, a construction team paved water pipes on the mountain range to fight against drought in case in the tea plantation.

In Yuhang District Luniao Fruit Farmers Specialized Cooperative, honey pears have ripened and are in high time for harvesting. The person in chare of the cooperative uses the App to irrigate the pear orchard with water every night. 

Now, Nabit Watermelon, with small size, thin peel and sweet taste, has ripened in Hangzhou Xiaoshan Yinong Sandy Land Pure-breed Green Fruits & Vegetables Experimental Field. The farmers pick the ripened Nabit watermelons in daytime and drip water into the soil in the evening.
