Hangzhou citizens found their Wechat Moments being flooded with photos of fantastic evening glow and resplendent rosy clouds as the city’s highest temperature climbed to 36.6℃ on July 7, also the day of Lesser Heat, one of the 24 solar terms in Chinese lunar calendar. According to Hangzhou Meteorological Observatory, the highest temperature in the city is expected to reach 36-38℃ in the next 3-5 days due to the dominance of subtropical anticyclone.
