Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, will issue this year's first batch of 2 million digital consumption coupon packages at 8:00 pm on June 17. They will be worth a total of 100 million yuan ($14.9 million).

All people living in Hangzhou will be able to receive the coupons by searching the keyword "Hangzhou" via the popular mobile payment app Alipay, then accessing the "Hangzhou Digital Consumption Coupon" channel and clicking the "Apply" button.

Every coupon package, which is worth 50 yuan in total, consists of two 5-yuan coupons, which can be used when spending more than 20 yuan, two 10-yuan coupons, which can be used when spending more than 40 yuan, and one 20-yuan coupon, which can be used when spending more than 80 yuan.

The five coupons cannot be used at the same time, and can be superimposed with other discounts offered by the merchant when paying.

As the coupon package is limited, they will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. The coupons will expire at 8:00 pm on June 24.
