Located in West Lake Culture Square in downtown Hangzhou, the 24-hour museum started trial operation on June 9. Focusing on commonly seen animals, plants and minerals as the main themes, the museum applies metaverse virtual technology to present the information of the massive collections and uses AI augmented reality and other display methods to strengthen connection between museum courses and scientific course through diversified inquiry learning activities. Meanwhile, the museum gives full play to the advantages in collections and exhibition and responds to the various demands of school education in different stages to arouse youngsters’ curiosity and desire for exploration of the nature.
