In order to bolster grain production and ensure food safety, Lin’an has strengthened guarantee in respects of organizations, policies and projects, has formulated 6 agriculture-related policies, including the policy to restore repurposed arable lands for grain cultivation, and has concentrated on launching six actions to set an example for rural revitalization and common prosperity.

The six actions are: 1) bolstering grain production and ensuring food safety to increase farmers’ revenues from odd jobs and agriculture engagement; 2) developing industries, upgrading facilities and introducing digitization to reform and revitalize livestock and tea industries; 3) developing and landscaping villages in groups relying on the roads that link them and yielding economic benefits from beautiful countryside construction; 4) promoting integrated urban-rural development, ensuring water supply of equal quality and building a shared medical community in urban and rural areas, stepping up efforts to ensure public services of equal quality and standards shared in rural and urban areas; 5) boosting modern agriculture and all-for-one tourism and sparing no effort to increase residents’ incomes through various channels and realize common prosperity of the farmers; 6) fostering etiquette and civil conducts in rural area, consolidating the foundation of rural governance and promoting digitization in villages to promote the sharing and common development of rural and urban cultures.
