The People’s Bank of China recently announced to expand the trials for digital currency. 6 co-host cities of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 in Zhejiang Province, including Hangzhou, were among the trials. Digital currency supports bilateral offline payments without charging any handling fee. Digital technology is changing people’s life style and consumption habit.
