Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, was highlighted at the awards ceremony of the third "My China Story" International Short Video Competition in Zhongshan, Guangdong province on Sept 14.

The publicity department of Hangzhou was honored with the Organizing Committee Award and Outstanding Organization Award for its support to the competition. Four short videos submitted by Hangzhou also won multiple awards.

The competition was founded in 2018 to create an authentic brand of foreigners' stories in China. The third edition attracted over 100,000 entries recorded in over 10 languages. The winning pieces came from 56 individuals or organizations from 25 countries.

Organizers of the competition announced Hangzhou as the host venue of the awards ceremony for the fourth edition in 2022.

The "My China Story" competition has become an important platform for China's international communication and Hangzhou will do its best to serve the awards ceremony, according to the publicity department of Hangzhou.
