On Sept.9, the “INNOVATION CHINA” Roadshow on Italian Green Innovation Technology wrapped up in Hangzhou’s Academic Island, which is home to academicians in Zhejiang.

The road show was broadcast online with presentations and assessment carryed out simultaneously in Italy and China's Hangzhou. It was made possible for the 5 Italian tech projects to meet with experts, potential partners and representatives of industrial parks in Hangzhou. 

Italian’s “HBI”, “Smart Layer”, and other 3 projects, dedicated to green innovation and technology, were presented on the roadshow, with some of them having drummed up interests among the experts. They were recommended by SPICI, who has been coordinating the participation of Italian companies in China through various networks. 

“These projects are in line with China’s current industrial needs, such as the eco-friendly cosmetic project,” said Wei Zhenxing, who used to judge at the Internet Entrepreneurship Competition of the Ministry of Education, “and they are what we advocate on the road to carbon neutrality.”

The roadshow was sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and organized by Hangzhou Association for Science and Technology (HAST). Over the last 15 years, HAST has been proactively promoting non-governmental technological matchmaking at a global scale, and has witnessed a total signing of 30 projects worth of 155 million yuan.
