The design team explained that the railway station is where passengers come and go and it is also the first stop of many who come to Hangzhou for the first time. Cloud, floating in the air, can move freely, which makes it a perfect token to greet people coming to Hangzhou. What’s more, the cloud gate also represents the flow of data.
