2021 Global English Education China Assembly, under the theme of “Innovation and Integration: New Perspectives for English Education and in China”, opened in Hangzhou on 23^rd July. Jointly hosted by China Daily and Shanghai International Studies University and undertaken by 21st Century English Language Teaching Reviews and Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, the event aims to demonstrate China’s achievements in English education in the new era, enhance the communication and cooperation between China and the world in English education, and provide suggestions on the quality development of China’s English education in the “14^th Five-Year” stage.
