A baseball field, covering an area of more than 70 mu, was launched at the foot of Hangwu Hill, Dong’en Village, Guali Town, Xiaoshan District on July 18. An exchange match between Chinese and Japanese baseball clubs was held here as a warmup. Known as “Martial Arts Town in China” and “Xianghu Jiangwu School Training Base of Martial Arts Research Institute, General Administration of Sports of China”, Guali has near 100 Tai Chi Martial Arts Teams and 5,000 martial arts lovers. It is now the host of two Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 events – kabaddi and martial arts.
