A new theatre will be added to Hangzhou’s theatre map this summer following the Red Star Theatre near Hangzhou Railway Station and the Canal Theatre in Qiaoxi. It is Zhejiang Experimental Art Theatre, located in No.508, Binwen Road.

The theatre was used for education in Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art in the past. The renovation started on 6th December, 2020. The new theatre will open to the public on 15th June after the renovation work is totally completed.
