Zhejiang Province is ramping up its effort to vaccinate the bulk of its population. The press conference said on Monday that about 1.93 million people, regardless of their nationality, have received at least one dose, including 1.54 million having been fully vaccinated.

The four cities Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou and Taizhou have reached 65.6 percent of the total number of doses administered by May 9. 1822 providers throughout the Province are vaccinating about one million doses per day on average.

Currently, vaccine recipients are on the process of getting the second dose on a scheduled time, around three to four weeks after the first shot depending on the type of vaccines.

Non-Zhejiang residents who have received the first dose elsewhere can receive the second in Zhejiang with the same or a different brand.
