Hangzhou municipal construction committee issued parking lot construction plan on 22th April. The plan highlights public parking spaces in key areas, including old residential areas, hospitals and schools, and transfer parking lots for rail transport (inter-city railways). Paying equal attention to quality, quantity and efficiency, the plan will give full play to the social effect of parking lots to make Hangzhou citizens’ life easier and more convenient. According to the plan, Hangzhou will set up another 55,000 parking spaces, 4,500 of which are for public.
