Looking just like a motorhome, movable shower vehicles which had initially attracted much attention in Gongshu District are seen all over the city since Feb 1.

In old communities where the bathrooms are either too small or can’t accommodate the needs of the seniors, a movable shower vehicle as such came just in time in cold winter – They can shower right down inside the community.

The shower journey begins with a wheelchair lift helping the seniors to board safely and ends up with a comfort rest on the sofa after shower. One will be allowed to enter only after his/her health conditions are checked and approved.

The vehicle offers a whole variety of shower services such as bubble massage tubes available for use, and even shower carers to give professional assistance. Also there is no need to worry about the hygiene conditions, as the vehicle provides antifungal bathrooms and disinfected toiletries.

By far, a total of 30 seniors in their 80s to 90s have enjoyed and highly recommended the service.
