However, the new straw causes quite some complaints from customers. The hashtag #Reasons why you hate paper straw# has even been on the trending list of Weibo. From the customers’ feedback we’ve included four major shortages of paper straws: get softened too soon, have a strange smell, not sharp enough to pierce through the seal, and too difficult to suck the “pearls” up.
