Cities are the heartbeat of culture, innovation, and economic progress. However, managing their growth and ensuring sustainability is a global challenge. On September 25th, the Global Mayors Dialogue in Hangzhou will bring together leaders from 24 cities across 15 countries, along with international and domestic officials, to exchange fresh ideas on urban governance and sustainability.
This year's forum will focus on "Urban Governance and Sustainable Development." Leaders will share innovative strategies for city management and sustainable growth, and explore achievements in areas like smart cities, green development, and cultural preservation.
Beyond discussions, participants will experience Hangzhou’s unique blend of heritage and modernity. Activities will include planting trees by West Lake for the International Friendship Forest, exploring the Liangzhu area, and visiting local tech companies, offering a comprehensive view of Hangzhou’s historical and technological charm.
