Hangzhou’s imports and exports recorded double-digit growth in 2021 and continued to grow rapidly in the first two months of this year based on a high basic value, showing the tenacity of Hangzhou’s foreign trade growth. According to Qianjiang Customs, Hangzhou’s imports and exports totalled RMB 124.18 billion in the first two months, up 23.3% compared with the same period last year, accounting for 17.2% of Zhejiang’s imports and exports. The export volume reached RMB 87.14 billion, rising by 37.5%, and the import volume reached RMB 37.04 billion, dropping by 0.7%.
