The second “Sail from Hangzhou” Glabal Youth Training Program of Cross-Border E-Commerce Talent wrapped up on Sept. 12 in Hangzhou Smart Valley.

Sponsored by AliExpress and Alibaba.com, and China (Hangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, the 9-month training before the final empowered entrepreneurs, and trained the future anchors to market products to audiences overseas using their platforms. While some have tried to sell products covering home furnishing, sports, fashion, and other 10 categories for 50 enterprises with a sales volume of over 1 million dollars on Alibaba.com, some have livestreamed on AliExpress making use of their languages such as English, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Sept. 12 was the day to assess if they had mastered the necessary skills.

In the finals, around 200 candidates stood out from a total of 1600 contestants from 120 countries and regions, with 100 of them ready to be future livestreamers and over 100 teams having been prepared to start the cross-border E-commerce business.

On that day, 6 most innovative entrepreneur teams were selected to be placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, with 10,000yuan, 5,000yuan and 3,000 yuan awards respectively. And the winner team will make straight to the final of China (Hangzhou) College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and a subsidy of 50 thousand to 1 million yuan.
