The number of tourists Hangzhou receives in the first half of this year has a year-on-year growth of 73.7%, recovering to 89% of the number of 2019. At present there’re 275 cultural and tourism projects under construction and the amount of actually finished investment reaches 26,336 million yuan, which means 84.95% of the annual task has been finished. The efficient construction helps Hangzhou rank No.1 in the comprehensive index of the investment of major cultural and tourism projects in Zhejiang. What’s more, Hangzhou has ranked No.1 in the index of intangible cultural heritage protection in Zhejiang three years in a row. “Lacework handicraft” of Xiaoshan, “Yandongguan Wu Jia Pi (cortex acanthopanacis) brewing craft” of Jiande, “traditional Chinese medical culture” of Tonglu, and “24 solar terms” of Gongshu have been listed as state-level intangible cultural heritages this year.
