The Qiantang Wisdom City in Jianggan district, Hangzhou, launched the China Super Supply Chain Base for Clothing, Cosmetics and Accessories on March 24.
The base focuses on gathering business entities related to clothing, cosmetics and accessories. To date, an industrial ecosystem comprising a number of well-known Chinese brands such as Red Dragonfly and Fast Fish have been formed. Many multichannel network institutes have also set up operations here.
At the launch ceremony, 11 famous brands including Septwolves, Osmun and RuanS Pearl signed cooperation deals with the base.
Shen Liangwei, general manager of Osmun Biology Co, said that they were attracted by the e-commerce strength and the large number of livestreamers in Jianggan district.
According to Shen, Osmun will build a big data laboratory analyzing user information and their preferences to boost research development.
Shao Han, co-founder of Daxi, said that Qiantang Wisdom City is superior to many other areas in terms of preferential tax policies. The area also boasts having a large number of skilled workers.
He added that his company would be able to find 10 skilled livestreamers in just one day in Jianggan district. In other places, this search might take the company a month.
Statistics showed that Qiantang Wisdom City generated 25.6 billion yuan ($3.91 billion) in online sales in fashion industry last year. Over 800 digital fashion companies have set up operations in the city.
A top official at Qiantang Wisdom City said that the area is aiming to gather more than 2,000 companies related to clothing, cosmetics and accessories by 2023.
