New flavored qingtuan on sale

Qingtuan is a green glutinous rice-ball dessert popular among the residents of the Yangtze River Delta, especially in Zhejiang province. People there treat qingtuan as a seasonal delicacy. They make and eat qingtuan before and during the Qingming Festival (Tomb Sweeping Day).

As the Qingming Festival is less than a month away, many merchant has put their qingtuan on sale. Beside normal sweet taste, there comes a lot new flavors this year. For example, snail rice-flour noodles flavor (as stinky as stinky tofu), yanduxian (bamboo shoot soup with fresh and pickled streaky pork) flavor, durian cheese flavor, luoshen flower (hibiscus) flavor and so on. Creative local merchants are trying to use any possible fillings to make qingtuan.
