On August 20, the 2nd phase of radio frequency collection & application for Hangzhou Asian Games wrapped up.
Compared to the first phase, this round of frequency collection witnessed significant increases both in the scope of radio user applications and the quantity of equipment applied for. From June 10 to August 20, a total of 120 organisations and institutions, both domestic and foreign, submitted 3,128 radio frequency applications. These applications covered 12 major categories, including land mobile communication, handheld walkie-talkies, wireless microphones, wireless cameras, wireless LAN, and Bluetooth devices. In total, 129,776 units of radio transmission equipment were applied for.
Moving forward, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (HAGOC) will continue to advance the subsequent frequency collection and licensing work. By September 10, it will have collaborated with the Economy and Information Technology Department of Zhejiang to complete the 2nd phase of radio frequency collection and approval work, thus ensuring high-efficiency management and use. The 3rd phase of radio frequency collection will last from September 11 to October 8, and the HAGOC will offer continuous guidance and service throughout the process.
