As the Hangzhou Asian Games draws near, the Hangzhou Asian Games Accreditation Centre (ACC) has encountered an initial surge in producing accreditation documents.
After nearly two weeks of hands-on training and practical experience, a group of 30 volunteers has officially started their duties recently. In the coming days, a total of 60 volunteers will be participating in and supporting the accreditation process at the Centre, contributing their volunteer services for almost two months.
The volunteers at the ACC will directly engage in the production of identity registration cards. These cards serve as access credentials during the Games, and cardholders are required to present their cards for entry into venues to fulfill their responsibilities. For international participants in the Games, these identity registration cards also function as temporary entry and exit visas.
All volunteers serving the ACC are students from Zhejiang Gongshang University.
Upon the arrival of the first batch of volunteers, the ACC has implemented a mentorship-based approach for training, where experienced volunteers guide newcomers in the process of card production and work discipline.
Volunteers practice in the ACC's card production workshop every day. Following nearly two weeks of mentorship and hands-on training, they have consistently achieved high-quality and quantity in each batch of card production. In the upcoming month, they will be facing the challenge of producing nearly 200,000 identity and accreditation cards.
