Within the Hangzhou Asian Games Village, an emergency water supply drill is currently underway. In the simulated scenario, a burst water pipe was detected within the water supply network of the village before maintenance personnel arrived at the scene, thanks to the back-end system's anomaly detection.

To address the pipe burst promptly, several operational vehicles swiftly arrived at the location for immediate repairs.

Following on-site excavation, the leak point was swiftly located. With specialised tools, the leak was repaired, subsequently creating a sealed area around the leak point to ensure that water flow remained contained, thus facilitating uninterrupted passage.

Following the water shut-off, the dispatch centre collaborated with the other service branches according to the water outage areas. Notifications were then sent to users within the affected water outage zone, specifying the outage duration and repair schedule. Adequate water storage preparations were proposed.

Upon conclusion of the repair work, personnel opened water valves in designated segments to flush out sediment that may have entered the pipes during the repair process. Water quality testing was conducted to confirm compliance with standards before the entire pipeline network could be restored to operation.
