At 6:00 p.m. on August 16, postal staff were scanning and mailing the pre-sold Hangzhou Asian Games paper tickets after information checking and verifying at the Hangzhou Asian Games Ticketing Centre.
It is understood that two staff members were assigned on site to handle quantity verification, counting & delivery, and parcel pick-up one by one, and four post-mail service staff members will be responsible for logistics tracking and feedback collection, ensuring all parcels can reach recipients.
The postal authority has laid certain importance to the delivery of Asian Games paper tickets: each parcel is handled as “special security mail” and labelled with “special security” accordingly. They will be delivered by dedicated personnel and vehicles. A separate area is divided at the mail handling centre for individual handling and transfer. Besides, a password-based delivery system is being implemented. Once these parcels reach the delivery unit and are scanned, unique passwords will be sent to recipients. Recipients are required to provide passwords to couriers when signing for the parcels in person. All these stringent processes can ensure the paper tickets’ secure and safe delivery.
