Shaoxing enterprise wins Asian Games orders with printing tech  2023-08-14 17:18

As the Hangzhou Asian Games draw near, Shaoxing Qianyong Textile Co, located in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, is delivering orders for Asian Games uniforms, local media reported on Aug 10.

Digital direct printing, steaming, and washing techniques on thin nylon fabric unveil intricate water ripple patterns.

"These are additional orders. The bulk of the Asian Games uniform orders were delivered last month. We upgraded nine production lines early this year, all running at full capacity without pause," stated Xiao Xingshui, general manager of Qianyong Textile, responsible for printing China's national team uniforms for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

"In the first half of this year, Qianyong Textile achieved an output value of over 43.8 million yuan ($6.05 million), a growth of about 70 percent compared to last year," he added.

Leveraging its unique nylon digital direct printing technology, Qianyong Textile was a supply chain enterprise for uniform equipment during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. It has also secured orders for nylon printed fabrics for uniforms during events like the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Qianyong Textile independently developed printing software and nano-ink compatible with its equipment. The proprietary nano-ink boasts a small particle size and strong chemical stability, greatly enhancing printing precision, color vibrancy, and stability. This enables the printing of ink dispersion and 3D effects on functional fabrics, reducing water usage by over 90 percent.

Thanks to its own independent R&D, Qianyong Textile has garnered favor from renowned sports brands such as LuLulemon, NorthFace, and Nike.
