On August 13, the Sijiqing Subdistrict in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, organised an event titled "Asian Games Mascots Enter the Subdistrict and Asian Games Venue."

The Shangcheng District Sports Centre, serving as one of the venues for the Hangzhou Asian Games' football competition, encompasses a comprehensive hall, tennis hall, and sports stadium. This venue prioritises practical functionality while embracing the "green" and "economical" principles in event hosting.

During the event, children engaged in recitation performances within the Asian Games venue. They subsequently joined the Asian Games mascots for a visit to the Sports Theme Hall of Hangzhou Library to enhance their knowledge about the Games and participate in an Asian Games-related quiz. Later in the afternoon, the "Gathering to Embrace the Asian Games with Art Performance" gala took place at the Binjiang Experimental Theater.

The Director of the Sijiqing Subdistrict's Party Building Office conveyed the aspiration to foster a vibrant Asian Games atmosphere within the subdistrict. Through activities such as venue exploration, knowledge acquisition, and performances, the goal is to enable children to experience the excitement of the Asian Games and nurture their sportsmanship.
