On August 8, the Hangzhou International Airport witnessed a comprehensive drill for flight support of the Hangzhou Asian Games. The drill included 22 subjects, such as Games-time command system operations, athlete arrival/departure procedures and response to emergencies.

During the drill, 213 staff members played various roles, such as participating athletes in the Hangzhou Asian Games and Hangzhou Asian Para Games, accompanying personnel and media reporters to test the arrival/departure procedures. They experienced the communication equipment, support systems, and emergency management systems to simulate various scenarios that may occur during the Games.

"The drill will help enhance the airport's operational capacity and performance during the Games, ensuring safe, efficient, and prompt flight arrivals/departures," said a responsible person from the Hangzhou International Airport.
