On the evening of August 4, Hangzhou's Qiantang District held a thematicactivity to mark the 50-day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the upcoming Games.
As the youngest administrative district in the city and an important host location for the Hangzhou Asian Games and Hangzhou Asian Para Games, Qiantang District will witness the birth of 30 expected gold medals in four Asian Games events: roller skating, skateboarding, handball, and fencing, as well as 40 expected gold medals in two Asian Para Gamesevents: lawn bowls and wheelchair fencing.
During the activity, citizens had the opportunity to learn about the hardware and software facilities of the Asian Games venues through large screens. Several Asian Games volunteers were interviewed on site, and the activity also featured stories shared by the two recipients of the "Most Beautiful Qiantang People" award, who are role models for ethics in Qiantang District. Additionally, there were artistic performances such as skits.
With only 50 days remaining until the grand event, Qiantang District is fully prepared!
