Currently, the themed flower sea takes shape around the Shaoxing Baseball & Softball Sports Centre. Covering an area of approximately 448,000 square metres, it is the largest Asian Games-themed flower sea ever seen in Zhejiang.
The flower sea is divided into two sections: north and south. On the south side of the venue, the sowing of grass flowers and the laying of turf have been completed. Clear Chinese patterns such as "Here comes baseball" and "Shaoxing" along with baseball hitting images are visible. On the north side of the venue, hundreds of workers are currently engaged in sowing grass flowers and laying turf.

The project manager of the Shaoxing Flower Sea stated that all turf-laying work will be completed by the end of July. Following that, a maintenance period will begin to ensure that the flowers bloom on time.
It is reported that on the north side of the flower sea, the emblem of the Hangzhou Asian Games, "Tides Surging," will be constructed, while the south side will showcase the most thrilling moments of baseball action. The colors chosen for the flower sea are orange, red, and yellow, representing the spirit of relentless pursuit.
