On the afternoon of July 14, the press conference for the "Exciting Hangzhou" MERRY Cup International Basketball Challenge 2023 took place at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium.

Scheduled from July 19 to July 22, 2023, the competition will be held at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. It will feature the men's basketball team from Beijing Shougang Ducks, and international university basketball teams from Finland, Poland, and Lithuania. A total of seven games will be played, following the rules of international basketball competitions.

Serving as a significant rehearsal for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, this competition will adhere to the operational model, procedural norms, and competition standards that will be seen during the Asian Games.
