The 2023 Qiantang River crossing event, organized by the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, is scheduled to take place on July 29.

The event is a Hangzhou tradition which makes full use of the city's unique landscape and actively promotes the concepts of environmental-friendliness, health, and harmony. This year, 3000 people are expected to take part in the event.

Anyone who signs up to participate in the event must undergo a swimming proficiency test before the race.
