The driverless minibus is about 5.5 metres long and resembles a space capsule. The exterior is decorated with mascots and slogans of the Hangzhou Asian Games. Passengers can scan the QR code at the bus stop and then take the driverless minibus free of charge.

It is said that the driverless bus line is 5.7 kilometres long, covering subway stations, the university cluster, the cultural and creative park and other crowded areas. It is set to meet the transportation needs of athletes and spectators. After the Games, the line will continue to serve the local communities.
