On the evening of July 2, "Exciting Hangzhou" WDSF Asian Breaking Championships 2023 came to an end at Hangzhou Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium, and 116 athletes of 13 teams from 13 countries and regions participated in the event.

Korean and Japanese athletes respectively won the champions of the men's and women's competitions. Shang Xiaoyu, a Chinese player, took the second place of the men's competition, and has been qualified to Paris Olympic Games to be held next year.

Breaking will make its debut as the official competition event at Hangzhou Asian Games. The event will be held at Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium from October 6 to October 7, with two gold medals for grabs.
