On June 16, Wenzhou officially launched the "People's Sports Code". Citizens can participate in various sports clubs and events by scanning and displaying the QR code or checking in at related locations. They can also record their exercise data through daily check-ins. 

The "People's Sports Code" marks Wenzhou's efforts to empower sports events through digitalisation, aiming to provide better digitally-enabled smart services to the public. Citizens can use the WeChat mini-program "People's Sports Code" to stay updated on sports club events and access scientific guidance for their physical activities.
