On June 22, the 2023 Hangzhou International Tennis Masters Tournament commenced at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. The four international tennis stars, namely Marat Safin, Carlos Moya, Juan Martin del Potro, and David Ferrer, made an appearance and delighted the spectators with thrilling matches.

During the evening session, Safin teamed up with Ferrer and played a doubles match against Moya and Del Potro. Known for their singles prowess, their doubles match added an intriguing element to the event.

Reflecting on his previous visit to Hangzhou 15 years ago, Safin remarked, "This time, I see a new sports venue. Hangzhou has become more modern and will host the 19th Asian Games. I look forward to having more fans come into the stadium to watch tennis matches."
