From June 19 to 24, the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Road Cycling Championships & National Youth Road Cycling Championships will be held at Chun'an Jieshou Sports Centre Cycling Road Course.

The championships have attracted 28 teams nationwide with 444 athletes, who will compete for 12 gold medals.

The road cycling event is arranged according to local conditions, with the route starting and ending at the Chun'an Jieshou Sports Centre and linking 14 villages and townships within the county. Along the route, Chunyang Road is the first "green road" in China's rural areas and one of the "Top 10 most beautiful rural roads". The Chunkai Road is also a beautiful rural road in China.

To ensure the successful organization of the cycling road event of the Hangzhou Asian Games, Chun'an County has started improving roads for the games and completed over 110 kilometres of road surface repair and upgrades, as well as high-standard, regular, and thorough maintenance.
