The 19th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival will be held in Hangzhou on June 20-24. It is themed by “Cartoon & Animation Capital and Asian Games City”, and organizes five parts such as exhibition, competition, forum, commerce and activity.

At that time, 469 Chinese and foreign enterprises, colleges & universities and institutions from 59 countries and regions will participate in the cartoon & animation festival activity in online and offline ways, including Pixar (USA), Sony (Japan), Animation Society (Russia), etc.

In the past 20 years, the animation industry of Hangzhou has been developed and expanded. In 2022, the cartoon & animation game enterprises all over the city achieved the income of 40.8 billion yuan. The studios of famous cartoonists Cai Zhizhong, Zhu Deyong and Ageme have been settled in Hangzhou, leading the trend of the cartoon & animation industry of China.
