After three years of hiatus, the dragon boat competition was held in Jiangcun, Xihu District, Hangzhou, on June 11. On the site, dozens of traditional dragon boats with exquisite appearance, including fully-decorated Dragon Boat gave water performances, with the cheerful deafening sound of gongs and drums, which was very exciting.

Jiangcun Dragon Boat Gala has been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages. Although the old craftsmen in the village are nearly 80 years old, they still insist on making dragon boats by hand. The Dragon Boat Gala reproduces the traditional techniques, and enables the young generations to better understand the dragon boat culture.
