From May 24 to May 30, the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 Chinese National Fencing Championships (The second station) was held in Hangzhou Dianzi University Gymnasium, a venue for the fencing events of the Hangzhou Asian Games. Fencers have summarised their feelings about the championships with six keywords (phrases), "praiseworthiness, great lighting, comfort, considerate care, responsive medical support, and great popularity among spectators".

The venue's facilities and layout were in line with international standards. The lighting system could ensure level-six illuminance, and the indoor temperature was precisely controlled at 22°C. Besides, sound-absorbing walls were installed around the venue to minimise echoes and noise interferences.

The venue operation team leaders always stayed on the site for timely and efficient responses to any possible inconvenience arising at any time during the events. The three sub-venues and spectator areas were all equipped with medical points with specialised first-aid responders. With due consideration given to the competition rules and actual situation, the ticketing gate would be opened two hours in advance to for the convenience of spectators.
