On May 31, the "Exciting Hangzhou" 2023 National Women's Hockey Championship Cup kicked off in Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium, also known as the "Hangzhou Umbrella". Since the start of the game, the venue has been widely hailed by coaches from all teams.

The venue boasts unique Hangzhou-style architecture, and smart elements for Hangzhou Asian Games inside the venue are also eye-catching.

In the venue, elevators are equipped with buttons that incorporate medium-free holographic technology, allowing users to press buttons in mid-air and experience the hi-tech-enabled "accessible" elevators.

In the hockey mini interactive area, spectators can play mini hockey games with a four-legged robot dog named "Xiaohu".

As the blind football event of the Hangzhou Asian Para Games will be held at the "Hangzhou Umbrella" too, the robot guide dog "Xiaoxi" has already geared up. It can perceive and recognise its surroundings and help people to plan routes and avoid obstacles. It is hoped "Xiaoxi" will provide better service for athletes and spectators with visual impairments during the event. Besides, the guiding robot "Dabao" is offering spectators venue navigation and simple Q&A services.
